2008
The following scientific observation shows that the music of Malone and the Lads is entirely restful and soothing.
As you can see. The effect is not a transient one, but persists over time,
as shown in this photo from later the same evening.
So if a restful, restorative time is what you are looking for, come on down!
It's so good to see these smiling faces.
That's Kevin, who likes to sing Johnny McEldoo, on the right,
Brian in the middle, and the other brother on, naturally, the left,
that being all that's left.
Joe Rodio came by this July, and brought the whole family.
All the way from Cleveland!
Joe did not play Malone's banjo on his new record,
but if he had, it would have sounded great!
It sure did on our stage.
Do you recognize this man?
Of course you do — that's Joe's Dad, "Red" Rodio!
He did not wear that outfit to the beach.
Twenty years!
Since the McGee's sign came down and the Shenanigan's sign went up.
It doesn't seem that long. Time flies when you're having fun.
At Mackenzie's in Stamford,
Mac gave us a fine "Danny Boy"
The Murphy clan was there, Mike and Clint and wives and kids,
looking happy and healthy.
Getting this picture was tricky, though. Roll your mouse over it to see why.
Back together for the first time this year
Malone and the lads are serious about their work.
For a few minutes, anyway.

2007

We went to West Virginia to help out at Ruth's birthday party.
She has come to Ocean City to see us plenty of times.

Pirate and wench, on deck! Where's the rum! Arrgh!

Big John had a birthday on Sept 1.

Chocolate cake, it looks like.

"Write your requests on a piece of paper, please".
(A Will & Katie production.)

Jan from Missouri, talking Crocs with the Crocs man.
Now go look at Talk Board messages starting with 114, if you haven't already. We'll wait.
Will "Lucky Guy" Cooper sent along a bunch of nice shots
from the first week in August. Here are a few of them:

I can make out Dr. Kazoo on the right, with the bass, and some of the usual suspects.
That balloon floating above the mikestand had something to do with this:
Look, it's Mr. Bennett's birthday!
Cleverly, Betsy had only put one candle per decade on the cake.
This helped to prevent an "Old Dun Cow" incident.
The next night, Pat McNamara stopped by.
Of course, he led the band!
From March 2007:

Here's one from Ban-Joe. Valentine's Day 2007.
